Elucidation Engineering
In all of my running around I have developed a curse, if you will, of being able to explain the difficult. As an engineer many people think I possess an intelligence that is far beyond that of their own.
This could not be further from the truth. The truth is that I have always needed to break things down into the smallest parts as possible to really understand.
These have always been my incremental little bits. Needing to break everything down into individual tasks (bits) has helped me as an instructor and as an operations manager ensuring that all systems work together.
Eventually this matriculated into what I call Elucidation Engineering, which is essentially making things simple. Breaking things down into those incremental little bits.
With Elucidation Engineering we bring clarity to a business letting them know what is actually required to run their business and how to tell if their business is being run efficiently.
We accomplish this through a series of business development tasks. First we conduct interviews to develop a business overview and process mapping for your company.
The Business Overview is a snap shot of your business as it is today.
Process Mapping is where we put together a map of everything that happens in your business and all of the stakeholders connected to each task.
Once we have put this together we can complete an analysis of the current way of doing things and see if there is anything we need to change.
